About Us
C.A.T.S.-C.A.N., Inc. is a local non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue of homeless cats from the streets of Seminole County, Florida and from Seminole County Animal Services. We provide them vet care (vaccines, testing, spaying, neutering) and find new homes for them. We’ve placed over 600 cats in a single year into new homes and have successfully adopted over 7000 cats from our private shelter located in Geneva, Florida and through the PETsMART Luv-a-Pet Program. We also provide, through Spay N Save, low cost spaying / neutering and vaccinating of feral, unadoptable cats to help curb the over-population and euthanasia of these animals. Another of our goals is to educate the public on the proper care of cats and the importance of spaying and neutering. We are funded entirely through donations and adoption fees and all income goes directly toward the care of the cats.
