Boo Radley was extremely shy when he first showed up in a volunteer’s yard. After he was neutered, he decided he liked the lap time and canned food his humans offered. In time, he also decided he preferred the indoor life.

He still has shy tendencies, but is very sweet when relaxed. Boo often greets his foster mom by rolling over on his back and showing her his tummy (but is not crazy about getting his tummy rubbed). As for his foster dad, Boo Radley likes to crawl in his lap to make biscuits and nuzzle against his tummy. It’s extremely cute.

Unfortunately, the other cats in his foster home tease and haze Boo Radley. Since he had to fend for himself the first couple of years of life, Boo does not understand that they are just playing, and becomes very agitated, which has resulted in some aggression.

Ideally, Boo Radley should go to a quiet home, with people who both appreciate his affection and respect his need for alone time. There is a good chance that if he were in such a home, he would further blossom. He has the potential to be the kind of cat who greets you when you get home and is content to sit next to you on the couch when you read or watch television. Although he may howl a bit if lonely, hungry, or scared, for the most part Boo is a quiet cat who stays out of the way and doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t. With proper care and affection, Boo Radley’s beginning as a stray and his FIV+ status will not prevent him from being a healthy and loving companion.

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested positive for FIV and negative for FELV microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.

Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions please email us at kittyrescuetnr@gmail.com
