Brooklyn was found covered in mange at an apartment complex. The finder called for help and one of our kind volunteers was able to go out and trap him and get him the help he so desperately needed. He was just covered in mange, he had also been bitten on the leg twice so hard that it had fractured. To top all that off he had an ear infection and his teeth were not in good shape!
With the help of his foster, one of our volunteers and some other amazing people we were able to get him all patched up and now he's ready for his new home! He's a very sweet boy, a little shy, but loves to be petted and chin scratches! Don't you want to take this sweet old boy home with you?
Brooklyn does have a slight heart murmur, but the vet has said that it's just something to watch at his yearly vet visits. He doesn't need any medication right now. He also has not had any interactions with other cats or dogs that we know of. He possibly would be ok with another older kitty, but were thinking a quiet home might be better for him.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
