One muggy afternoon, a pitiful and frightened kitten showed up in a volunteer’s yard. She trapped the baby and crated him while she evaluated his needs. Although scared and hissing at first, the kitten soon showed interest in his caretaker. She noticed that when she went near his cage, he would take a few steps towards her and a few back. He would repeat this a couple of times before allowing himself to be pet. The movement made her think of a little Cha-Cha, so the caretaker named the kitten after the dance.
Cha-Cha is a bit hesitant in new situations, but has a playful and affectionate nature. His adopter may need to be patient and help Cha-Cha adjust to his new surroundings, but will soon find he is a loving and fun companion. He gives sandpaper kisses and likes to snuggle, but is also easily distracted and may soon be jumping down to investigate something he has seen dozens of times before.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
