Alex is a gorgeous deep orange tabby with classic tabby markings and white accents. He is a big boy; super friendly and very outgoing. Alex enjoys being in the same room with you and is happy in your lap or next to you. He often seeks people out for a good petting session and is very affectionate. Alex is overall a very easy-going cat and has good manners — always using his scratching post and excellent with the litter box. He loves interactive play with a wand toy. His favorite other toy is currently a small plastic spring. He has a really cute way of chirping, which he does a lot, instead of meowing. You DO need to respect the occasional moments when he does not want attention, and then just leave him be. This is usually when he is lying down, for some reason, and then he might give your hand a swat. For this reason, a household without small children would be a better fit. Alex gets along very well with his foster’s big gentle dog. He might do well with a buddy, and he acclimates to other cats quickly, but he tends to play a little roughly, so a companion with a stronger personality would be best.
Alex is currently in a loving foster home and tested negative for FIV and FELV. He is microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
