This little girl was trapped in a racoon trap behind a church. She was so hungry she wanted the sweet bun that was inside. The person trapping saw she was not a racoon and contacted us to have her fixed and returned to the area (tnr), but when we saw how sweet she really was we knew we couldn't let her go.
Her original name was Onix, but it was soon changed to cashmere because of how soft and thick her fur is. It's quite lovely to stroke your hand through.
She really likes to nuzzle into you when it's cuddle time. Her head fits right into the crook of your elbow or armpit and she will purr the day away giving you tiny kitty kisses here and there. She does get spooked now and again at some loud unexpected noises and movements, but it getting better and doesn't run to hide she goes to her human for comfort.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions please email us at kittyrescuetnr@gmail.com
