Meet Dixie, a stunning long-haired female tabby who was rescued from the euthanasia list at SCAS. Dixie has had a rough start to life as she arrived at a foster home, and had four kittens who tragically passed away due to her being very sick. Despite her own struggles, Dixie is a kind and gentle soul who loves nothing more than receiving cuddles and attention from her humans.
Dixie is a true cat lover as she enjoys the company of other cats. She likes to play the role of "momma kitty" to the other cats and can often be seen grooming and washing them with affection. Her nurturing personality makes her the perfect addition to a home with other cats who are looking for a loving companion.
Dixie adores being petted and brushed, and her beautiful long hair is sure to capture your heart. She also loves to play with toys and is always up for a game, but when playtime is over, she is quick to settle down for some snuggles and attention.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
