Unaccustomed as I am… no, that sounds silly! G’day mates! My name is Ikara. I am a super sweet, smart and playful little torbie girl with a motor purr and an inquisitive nature. Because my fosters knew my sister was called Kylie, which means boomerang, they gave us all Aboriginal names and nicknamed us the ‘Aussiecats’. A bad pun from my foster dad because my foster mum used to have Ocicats. I spent my first few weeks with my kitty mum’s family, but then they could not keep us, and we were brought to Cats Can. I love people and adore being snuggled. I am good with children and other cats. I love to play, I like licky treats and when nighttime comes I like best to sleep in a people bed. I am a happy natured little girl who deals well with change and I am ready to adapt to a new forever home of my very own.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions, please email us at catscaninc@gmail.com
