We have a very special cat to introduce to you - meet TJ, aka 408. He was rescued from the center median of the 408 expressway during morning rush hour last summer. He was cowering against the wall with cars whizzing by at 60 and 70 miles an hour and was absolutely terrified. A wonderful woman was brave enough to stop and risk her own life to save his. She was able to get him in a carrier and get him to another rescue contact, who in turn took him to her vet where he was immediately examined. He had wounds consistent with an animal attack of some kind and his pelvis was broken. He was treated and spent the next five weeks recuperating. We'll never know his story or how he wound up in such a terrible predicament, but he's now ready for adoption! He's very shy and very friendly, but he's been through so, so much he will need time and patience to learn to trust again. We're so glad this miracle kitty is alive and well thanks to the efforts of many people. If interested please submit an application for adoption through Cats Can.
